Happy Hens Homestead moved to a rural area in search of a simpler, healthier lifestyle and began with 5 chickens...
They found themselves on a larger- more rural- family owned property in need of care and love in eastern KY. They currently raise: pigs, milk goats, laying hens and ducks, chickens for meat, and year round produce and handmade soap with our goat's milk.
They want to leave this land better than they found it and pride themselves on being good stewards of the land. They are always looking for new "modern" ways to help us live that more simple lifestyle.
